  • Mr. G N Mohan

    G N Mohan is a noted writer and media, he was a member of the jury for Karnataka State Film Awardsand has has been part of film movements as a resource person in workshops on films, and as a Curator of Women Film Festival.

    He is associated with documentary films making and has penned scripts for many documentaries. G N Mohan has penned more than 20 books which include poetry collections, essays on media and current affairs etc. His books are prescribed as a text book for all major universities in Karnataka.


  • Mr. Ratnottama Sengupta

    Ratnottama Sengupta, a very senior journalist, has been writing for newspapers and journals, participating in discussions on the electronic media; teaching mass communication students, writing books on cinema and art, programming film festivals and curating art exhibitions. Daughter of Nabendu Ghosh, a leading name in Bengali literature and legendary screenwriter-director, the former Arts Editor of The Times of India  has written on Hindi films for the Encyclopedia Britannica; been a member of CBFC and NFDC's Script Committee, served on the National Film Awards jury and has herself won a National award for her writings on cinema.


  • Mr. Swapan Mullick

    Swapan Mullick is a veteran journalist and National Award winning film critic and currently Director of the Statesman Print Journalism School that is run in partnership with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation of Germany. He was also the Director of the Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute from 2006 -2009 after having worked in The Statesman in senior editorial positions. He produced a large volume of writing but has specialized in film writing and was the first to receive the Rajat Kamal for Best Film Critic in 1985. Mr. Mullick has served as the jury for the National Film Awards and was a member of the selection committeeat IFFI (Indian Panaroma Category). He has conducted film study and media workshops at Nandan (Kolkata), Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture and the Indian Institute of Management in Joka and Ranchi. He has been a guest lecturer in Journalism and Mass Communication at Calcutta, Jadavpur and Kalyani Universities.

  • Ms. Malti Sahai

    Malti Sahai is a renowned film expert, critic and former Director of Directorate of film festivals, Government of India, where she worked for over twenty years. She also served as the Cultural Councilor for Embassy of India and the Director of the Indian Cultural Center in both Mauritius and Georgetown Guyana. Malti Sahai also an author of three books on Indian cinema and has done coverage for the Cannes film festival representing United News of India for several years. She has also served as the International jury for more than a dozen International film  festivals all over the world.

  • Mr. S.Mahender

    S.Mahender who was born in Kollegal taluk in Karnataka is a Kannada film director, producer and screenwriter. He made his directorial debut with the film PranayadaPakshigalu and has directed over thirty films. He also acted in Gattimela (2001) in the lead role under his own direction. Some of his well-known movies include, ThayiIlladaThavaru (1995), KarpooradaGombe (1996), Snehaloka (1999), Asura (2001), Vaalee (2001), Ninagagi (2002), Gowdru (2004) and ThandegeThakkaMaga (2006).S.Mahendar is a Dr.BabuJagjeevanram Awardee presented by the Karnataka State Government in the year 2012.
