Born in 1989, he is the son of Saman Weeraman, an acclaimed scriptwriter and a film director in Sri Lanka, who directed the biopic of Lord Buddha “Sri Siddartha Gautama”. Filmmaking has always been his ambition. He studied filmmaking in Faculty of Cinematic Arts at Multimedia University, Malaysia.
This film reveals the profound role played by the members of the Maha Sangha, to ensure the continuity of Sri Lanka’s Royal Line and to preserve the sacred human heritage of the Buddha’s Dispensation for the well-being of the totality of mankind.
